Our community, part of the Shwetambar sect, proudly traces its origins to the Shrimali region of Rajasthan, with significant historical ties to the village of Ghogha in Gujarat. We are united by our commitment to the principles of Jainism, fostering a strong sense of unity, spirituality, and social responsibility among our members.
Our journey begins in the ancient land of Shrimali, where our ancestors first embraced the teachings of Lord Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism. Over centuries, we migrated to various parts of India, notably settling in Ghogha, Gujarat, where we flourished as a community known for our resilience, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit. The name "Ghoghari" reflects this significant part of our heritage.
